About the event

About the Exhibition
This exhibition begins with resentment. Toward the motherland, the government, the people. And asks what lives on the other side of it. We stay, in discomfort, choosing this country not despite what it costs us but alongside it. We hold equal respect for those who left. This is not a debate about which choice is right. It is an honest look at what it means to stay when staying is not simple. If the discomfort of staying and the discomfort of leaving are the same discomfort; Is this love, or have we just made peace with it? What exactly are we choosing when we choose to stay? Can discomfort be a weapon? And what do you do when it does become one?—Monochaotic
